Working Environment

They generally work 35 to 40 hours a week, but the shifts can be changed anytime. They may work some nights . They mainly spend there time interacting with animals daily trying to get them out of horrible situations. They might have to work in weather conditions. The work can be physically demanding.

Intro

Animal services workers rescue stray or abused pets and return wild animals to their natural habitats. The animal services workers are dedicated to protecting  all animals . These people are heros they save innnocent animals that are being abused and tortured by horrible people

Earnings (Texas Wage)

There are different amount of money you can earn . It depends on how much experience you have with this career. The entry wage is $13.19 dollars an hour, which is $27,440 a year . . The median wage is $15.75 an hour. That's almost   $32,760 a year. The experienced wage is $18.27 a hour , which is around $38,000 a year. If your doing this for the money this is not the right job for you.

Education 

you need a high school diploma to become a animal services worker. Colleges offer different programs such as  such as criminal justice or animal health technology. These programs are usually 1 or 2 years in length and result in a certificate or an associate degree. Even though a associates degree is not required, the type of education may improve your chances in getting into that field. 

Conclusion

I fell like this career well be very suitable for me because i enjoy being around animals. I would love to help animals that are suffering and being tortured. I can't see animals suffer and not do nothing about it. I think this would be a amazing career choice for me because i have a passion for helping animals since i was a little girl.
